Healed sleeve for my wonderful client RJ!

This project was a cover up of self harm scars (seen in the last slide). We decided to go with a more patchwork style so that it was busy enough to lead the eye away from the scars and into the intricacies of the geometry 📐 I’m grateful to have had the opportunity and trust to create such a meaningful piece 🖤

Hi all! I haven’t posted a photo of myself in quite some time. So here I am. Probably thinking about food, but always thinking about how much I genuinely love what I do. I constantly remind myself how grateful I am to have the opportunity to create art and be a part in one’s journey of self expression. I find that with the geometric/abstract style, a lot of the time my work has no significant illustrative meaning to the individual. Some like to say this style is timeless. Hi all! I haven’t posted a photo of myself in quite some time. So here I am. Probably thinking about food, but always thinking about how much I genuinely love what I do. I constantly remind myself how grateful I am to have the opportunity to create art and be a part in one’s journey of self expression. I find that with the geometric/abstract style, a lot of the time my work has no significant illustrative meaning to the individual. Some like to say this style is timeless. Finished blastover project for Kristen! We decided to not focus too much on trying to cover up the abstract lines that a previous artist did, and just put some patterns on top to make something new. Will post another view of the outside of the leg where we had to go with more solid black to cover more of the abstract.

Got started on a super fun leg sleeve project for Sean this week! He asked that the theme incorporate the ideas of cymatics (sound and waveforms) mixed with geometry. This design here was based off of a Chladni Plate.

A Chladni Plate demonstrates 2-dimensional standing wave patterns. When a metal plate with salt is vibrated at certain frequency, the salt will create 2D shapes based on the sound vibrations. *Example image shown in video*
